General terms and conditions of business
I. Insurance
The Adrenaline international ski and snowboard school disclaims any liability in the event of an accident occurring during ski and snowboard courses, mountain tours or competitions. Course participants are not covered by Adrenaline’s insurance. Each course participant must personally conclude an accident insurance policy providing cover for winter sport activities. The court of Entremont, Wallis, shall have competence in case of any legal disputes.
Ski passes are required and are not included in the price of the ski and snowboard courses.
II. Booking
For private lessons payment of 30 % of the overall amount shall be due at the time of booking and totality for group lessons. The overall amount must have been received prior to the start of a course. A booking shall be considered final upon receipt of the down payment. In case of non-compliance with the terms of sale, the Adrenaline ski school reserves the right to allocate places on the course to other participants and to retain the down payment.
III. Cancellation
In case of a cancellation within 24 hours of the start of a course, the Adrenaline ski school shall be entitled to retain the agreed price.
The Adrenaline ski school may be notified of a possible cancellation by post, fax, email or telephone at least one week (7 days) prior to the start of the course. In this case the overall amount shall be reimbursed, excluding a handling fee and credit card charges incurred by the customer.
Where notice of cancellation is provided within 7 days of the start of a course, Adrenaline reserves the right to retain some or all of the amount paid.
A ski course or private lesson may not be cancelled due to the injury or sickness of a ski instructor. In such case Adrenaline ski school undertakes to provide a replacement.
IV. Reimbursement of costs
The amount payable for the courses shall be fully reimbursed subject to the following conditions: complete closure of the mechanical installations or a course participant’s accident or illness, subject to presentation of a doctor’s certificate.
V. Responsibilities
The customer shall not be reimbursed for any unutilized service. Moreover, Adrenaline ski school does not assume any responsibility for situations caused by force majeure or third parties.
VI. Miscellaneous provisions
The participant must appear at the started time at the previously agreed location. The customer shall not be entitled to reimbursement of the amount paid if he appears too late for the course or private lesson or does not appear at all. Difficulties or delays affecting the chair lift shall not provide an entitlement to a reduction of the course price.
VII. Group courses
A group course shall last for a period of 5 days. During the main season it is not possible to book an individual day. However, in the low season group courses may also be offered on individual days.
Participants are required to assemble 15 minutes prior to the start of the course. If the participant does not appear within the following 30 minutes and is unable to participate in the lesson for this reason, this shall be his fault. The customer shall not be reimbursed due to his missing the course.
VIII. Private instruction
It is customary for clients to pay for the instructor’s lunch on full day lessons.
